Thorton Dial Sr.: Works on Paper


Thorton Dial is a self-taught artist that is one of the most widely known African American vernacular artists.  Herman will be speaking about a student and faculty project he is doing about Dial in partnership with the Ackland Art Museum that will result in and exhibition and publication in 2011
